About the Breed
Height: 13.2-16.2 hh Horses that aren't within 2 cm of 58 cm at the withers must show exceptional breed type.
Color: most are Grey, some are Black, Brown or Bay.
Country of origin: Austria
Alternative names: Lipizzan, Karster.
Naming rules: there are six original sires,
Pluto
Conversano
Neapolitano
Favory
Maestoso
Siglavy.
The LIF accepts these lines as equal to the classic ones:
Tulipan
Incitato
For example, if the sire was called Pluto Santuzza and the dam Borina, the foal, if it were a colt, would be named Pluto Borina. If a filly, it's name must end with an "A," and preferably start with the same letter as her dam's name.

Evaluation
All Lipizzaners registered with us will be evaluated. To be allowed to breed, a horse must have a score of at least 60. A horse with a score between 60 and 70 that keeps on producing poor quality foals may no longer be used for breeding and a horse with less than five for any individual score may not be used for breeding either.
Horses registered with us are evaluated in the same way as real horses, as far as possible. (I need to do a dice roll for things such as temperament/obedience and impulsion and elasticity.)
