The head is relatively small, erect and attractive, the neck short, according to one source, and long according to another and slightly curved (firsts source), although somewhere I read well arched (second source), and the shoulders inclined. The back is not long, (the second source says it is) the hind quarters are muscular and the legs elegant and strong. The croup is rounded.
Appaloosa sport horses a very persistent, hard working, sure footed, relaxed and friendly. They are strong, willing, good team players, tenacious and tough.
There are no inspections/evaluations. Awards are given based on performance, but I will need to sort out exactly how points are allocated later.
